Nova Scotia plays an important role in communications between Great Britain and the United States. We believe that adding this colony to the Province of Canada will strengthen our relations with these two nations. We believe that Nova Scotia is a welcomed colony to the Province of Canada. Nova Scotia’s representative should have been advocating to make the French language and culture a part of Canada if we did confederate. Instead Nova Scotia did NOT want no french to be a national language even though a large percentage of his people are French speakers.
Well, as we all know, Canada East did not confederate. I think this will be a huge problem since they are right in between us! What are your thoughts?
