Canada West is an extremely complicated colony. We believe that Canada West purposely caused the political deadlock that is currently taking place in the Province of Canada. On top of this we can't see how a colony can vote John A. MacDonald to be their representative, when half of the time he’s not in his right state of mind!!
I believe that Canada West's proposal for fishing was fair to all the colonies. Nova Scotia was able to have the majority of the fishing industry and everyone (except PEI which is a different situation) will be able to keep at least a little bit of the fishing industry.
